QuickBooks unable to email invoices , estimates or purchase orders

QuickBooks is by far the most widely used accounting package for small and medium sized businesses. Relying on being able to send invoices, estimates, and purchase orders by email are part of the everyday routine for any company. When QuickBooks stopped being able to email invoices and estimates this became a serious issue for a client today. The client was running fine until a round of Microsoft Updates created a problem that didn’t exist before.  Naturally we checked all the Outlook settings and everything worked perfectly except with QuickBooks. The Microsoft XPS Document Writer fix recommended from Intuits website was not fixing the problem. Our client was becoming more frustrated as we attempted to fix the issue using the tools provided by Intuit. Finally, we sought out another solution which was successful.
